Egypt Tours FAQ

Read top Egypt tours FAQs

Egypt is a remarkable country known for its abundant and captivating sights. To fully experience all the notable highlights, such as the Valley of the Kings, the Giza Pyramids, Karnak Temple, The High Dam, and the Alexandria National Museum, it is highly recommended to participate in a guided multi-day tour to Cairo, Luxor, Aswan, and Alexandria. This way, you can ensure that you don't overlook any of the mesmerizing top attractions this country has to offer.

Since knowing what not to do is just as important as knowing what to do in a particular destination, here is the first thing to avoid when visiting Egypt: disrespecting the country's traditions. Egyptians are known for being very friendly and open to tourists, but they are also extremely conservative and traditional. Tourists should avoid immodest clothing, public displays of affection, and public drinking.

Salting the host's food, photographing public infrastructure without permission, and using drones should all be avoided.

Yes, you can enter the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the admission ticket is extra and costs around 35 USD (900 EGP)

The straight response in its entirety. Egypt is a fairly safe nation, particularly for visitors. Every location and attraction has strong security, certain tour busses are escorted, and the city's main thoroughfares are patrolled by security personnel.

Along with following your travel advisor's or the tourist police's advice, you should exercise the same prudence and safety that you do in your home country and other countries when visiting Egypt.

Compared to some other African countries, Egypt is not as supportive of LGBTQ rights. Although not strictly illegal, homosexual acts and gender differences are prosecuted under more obscure legislation, and conservative ideas are still in force. Incidents of entrapment and police repression have been recorded. All guests should therefore be culturally aware. Regardless of orientation, caution should be exercised both on regular visits and when visiting historical sites.

You can experience a complete luxury trip package that lets you see the best of Egypt, including the 12 Days Cairo, Alexandria, The Nile, and Hurghada. This package includes a cruise down the Nile River, a leisurely beach vacation in Hurghada, and trips to Cairo and Alexandria, where you may explore historic sites and cultural treasures. It provides a harmonious blend of leisure pursuits, opulent lodging, and historical discovery.

Aswan, Egypt, is a special place with really old things that are kept in really good condition. But it's not just about old stuff, it's also a city where people can go shopping outside, go on boat rides, and see peaceful views.
