You will have your breakfast meal at the buffet in the early morning and then meet your tour guide to start your amazing Cairo trip.
First, we will enjoy the Egyptian Museum tour, and then we will head towards the Egyptian Museum. The most complete exhibition of ancient Egyptian treasures is located here, and some of these treasures were also found in Tutankhamun's tomb.
The museum is located close to Tahrir Square, and the tour takes about two hours to explore the building on two floors with the most incredible artifacts from many eras of Egyptian history.
Transfer now to start one of the amazing Islamic Cairo trips. Inside the Citadel, you will admire one of the most impressive mosques, that of Mohamed Ali Basha. Our next stop on our Cairo day tours is the Coptic tour, which will take us to see the Coptic churches in the area of Old Cairo. This area is home to the largest Christian community in Egypt, and we can walk through its narrow tunnels and stop in the various churches until we reach that of St. Sergius, where the holy family took refuge in a crypt inside.
See also the Hanging Church, which is built suspended on two towers of the Roman fortress of Babylon, and the Synagogue of Ben Ezra before having a pleasant lunch and transferring to Khan-El-Khalili, the most important bazaar in all of Egypt, where you can walk among the scents of spices and the colors of the stalls. The souk is free and open until late at night, and we recommend stopping to have a typical tea mint or fresh mango juice in one of the oldest cafes in the area. You'll be transferred back to the hotel.
