Oceania Marina Cruise Ship Stops in Alexandria Port
Now, guests on board Marina may savor the culinary delights of Aquamar Kitchen, a new wellness-focused eating establishment that made its much-anticipated debut on Vista last year; a new al fresco pizzeria; and a poolside ice cream parlor providing milkshakes and smoothies.
The most recent vessel to be renovated in Oceania Cruises' current fleet is Marina.
According to Oceania Cruises president Frank Del Rio, "Marina is the first—the original—ship designed by foodies, built by foodies, for foodies." Our reputation for providing the best food at sea is not merely a catchphrase; it is our mission statement, upon which we have based our entire company. Our activities, both on board our ships and in the places we travel to around the world, are centered around food.
These three laid-back yet elegant restaurants are the ideal way to highlight that the best food at sea doesn't always require a starched serviette and white linen tablecloth in one of our specialty restaurants, which has won numerous awards. It's also a properly cooked pizza, served on deck with a cool bottle of white wine while sailing with a nice breeze at your back, or a rich ice cream or flavorful smoothie by the pool while lounging on a sun lounger.
Chefs Alexis Quaretti and Eric Barale, the recently appointed executive culinary directors of Oceania Cruises, along with their staff, are reexamining the menus in every venue on every ship.
"The launch of these three fantastic culinary venues on board Marina is just the beginning of an exciting new taste journey for Oceania Cruises," stated Mr. Quaretti. Naturally, there is a tonne of work being done to get ready for Allura's arrival in the summer, but there is also a tonne of activity on board all of our stunning ships. You'll see that Eric and I are scrutinizing every menu item and dish that we serve when Marina returns.
124 penthouse suites that have been "completely re-inspired" as part of the Marina renovation also have newly designed furnishings, new closets, and cabinetry to maximize guest storage space, new carpets, and upholstery, updated modern lighting, and an increased number of outlets and USB connections.
With our Egypt Shore excursions Abundant with golden treasures, Oceania Marina day tours from Alexandria Port showcase the timeless capital towns of Luxor, Alexandria, and Cairo. They are nothing short of magnificent. Your journey through Egypt Tours ageless wonders, such as the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, the Egyptian Museum, the Qaitbay Citadel, Pompey's Pillar, the Catacombs, the Valley of the Kings, the Karnak Temple, the Hatshepsut Temple, the Luxor Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon, will commence as soon as your feet touch the port of Alexandria.
