Port Ghalib in Marsa Alam
Port Ghalib is an integrated tourist city that follows the Marsa Alam Red Sea and is located in a nature reserve. It includes a resort, marina, luxury residences, about a thousand five-star hotel rooms and a conference center that accommodates about three thousand guests, about 22 cafes and 165 eastern stores (Khan) and services and facilities funded by Kuwait and some of the stages are still under construction, and the construction schedule ends in 2024.
In the city, Marsa Alam International Airport, the first Egyptian airport to be built based on "the system of construction, operation, and transfer". Port Ghalib is located 70 km north of Marsa Alam.
The most striking thing is the green planting of the area so that the resort becomes an oasis in this barren desert located on one of the most beautiful beaches of the Red Sea. The project is located 250 km from Hurgada, 150 km from Quseir, and 70 km from Marsa Alam.
