The visa policy in Egypt:
Visitors to the Arab Republic of Egypt can obtain a visa from one of the Egyptian diplomatic embassies in their countries, or if they come from one of the countries that are permanently exempted from the visa or from the countries whose citizens are allowed to obtain an entry visa upon their arrival at Cairo International Airport
Citizens of 7 countries and territories are allowed to visit Egypt without a visa for 3 months, and they are:

  • The United Arab Emirates
  • Bahrain
  • Saudi Arabia
  • Sultanate of Oman
  • Kuwait
  • Macao, China
  • Hong Kong, China

Entry Visa of Egypt

The free visa system is also applied to citizens of the following countries under certain conditions:

  • Afghanistan: provided to people aged 50 years and over, or 16 years and under.
  • Tunisia: It is offered to those who are not more than 14 years old.
  • Algeria: It is offered to those who are not more than 14 years old.
  • Jordan: It is presented to a Jordanian passport holder for a period of 5 years.
  • Sudan: It is provided for those aged 50 years and over, or 16 years and under.
  • Lebanon: It is offered to those aged 50 years and over, or 16 years and under.
  • Libya: It is offered to those aged 50 years and over, or 17 years and under.
  • Morocco: It is offered to those who are not more than 14 years old.

Citizens of the following countries can obtain an entry visa upon arrival at any of the Egyptian airports, ports, or crossings:

  • European Union and all member states of the European Union
  • USA
  • Australia
  • Kanada
  • Russia
  • Georgia
  • Japan
  • Macedonia
  • Malaysia
  • New Zealand
  • Norway
  • South Korea
  • Serbia

From 3 December 2017 citizens of 46 countries may apply for tourist or business types of visas for 30 days online through the Visa system. European Union and All European Union citizens:
