Taha Hussein Museum
After a 7-year closure, it becomes a cultural beacon.
The development included the restoration and installation of modern security systems, treatment of the basics of the house, cataloging and archiving the library, digitizing it, and making expansions for it to accommodate all the books that were gifted from the Taha Hussein family with their binding and scientific presentation and containing 6859 books, including 3725 books in Arabic, 3134 books in foreign languages, 54 One of his books is the story, literature, history, philosophy.......
The library contains two sections, an Arab section and a foreign one. The Arab section contains a very large number of books and more than the foreign ones and is present in the Dar al-Kutub so far.
The foreign section contains a number of books in different languages, and these books are in the library.
At the beginning of the museum, there is a large bronze head of Taha Hussein, and there is also the chair on which he was sitting, the dining hall, and the place designated for his son. There are also two rooms for the administration.
There is also an exhibition of his clothes, Arab and foreign medals, the famous Nile necklace, and some medals that he obtained on various occasions.
