Military graves of the Italian and German armies can be found atop Tel el-Eisa Hill, which is situated beyond the town. The German cemetery was built to resemble an ossuary, a walled, medieval fortress.

You will be picked up from Alexandria port by one of our professional tour leaders to start your trip from our Alexandria Shore Excursions.
First, you will start your trip to Al Alamein World War II remains and cemeteries in an air-conditioned vehicle. The Battle of El Alamein was one of the pivotal battles of World War II and the site of some of the most intense fighting in the whole conflict.
You will visit the Military Museum which contains a collection of artifacts from World War II. Among these are weapons, uniforms, and other items used by soldiers. The museum also has a library with over 1,000 books about the war. After lunch, you will visit the West of Al Alamein, where you can enjoy a view of the Mediterranean Sea.
