In the early morning, you will be taken from your spot at the airport of Alexandria to head to Cairo by a private A/C car with your personal tour leader who will accompany you during your Egypt shore excursions trip.
We'll start with the Giza pyramids face the sunrise, while the three pyramids were built on the west bank of the Nile in a location facing the sunset. It is believed that this indicates the world of the dead because it is associated with sunset in ancient Egyptian myths.
After that we'll head to the pyramid at Saqqara is an ancient and impressive structure. Saqqara is an important part of the Memphis necropolis, located about 40 kilometers from Cairo. It probably took its name from the "sugar" deity that is associated with it.
