Your day tour begins with a car from your hotel in Soma Bay, where you will be transferred to Luxor.
Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel and begin your tour in eastern Luxor, where you will see some of the most famous sites in Egypt. The first stop is Karnak Temple, which is one of the largest ancient Egyptian temples ever.
It was built by Pharaoh Ramesses II around 1400 BC and consists of four main towers (gates) lined up along a central axis. The temple is dedicated to the god Amun-Ra and consists of several courtyards and halls with columns. Then you will visit the Luxor Temple built by Ramesses II as part of his funerary complex on the west bank of Luxor.
This temple was dedicated to Amun-Re by King Amenhotep III in Western Thebes. It is one of the largest temples in Egypt and a highlight on any visit to Luxor. Afterwards, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant near Luxor Temple. After lunch, you will head out to begin your adventure in Luxor, West Bank tour.
You will see the Valley of the Kings and Queens, where members of the royal family are buried, as well as temples dedicated to ancient gods such as Isis and Osiris.
You'll also stop at the Temple of Hatshepsut, one of only two female pharaohs recorded in Egyptian history (the other was Nefertiti). It ruled during the Eighteenth Dynasty around 1479 BC, and its temple was built around 1375 BC.
Riding a felucca in the heart of the Nile for half an hour is considered one of the most beautiful experiences that you can do in Luxor Nile.
The rest of the tour is at your leisure - you can spend it shopping or exploring more of the sites on your own before returning to your hotel in Soma Bay later that evening.
