2 Days in Luxor from Gouna
Why not travel to Luxor for 2 days and tour the most significant and enchanting monuments in Egypt before returning to El Gouna?
You will have the opportunity to tour both the West and East banks of the city of Luxor on this journey from El Gouna! On the first day, we'll take you to see the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Kings; within the heart of the Theban Necropolis, the Temple of Medinet Habu, and Queen Hatshepsut's Mortuary Temple. You will also go on a tour of the East Bank on the second day, which will take you past Luxor and Karnak Temple; a cult temple dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu that dates from around 2055 BC to around 100 AD.
Note:
Entrance to some of the tombs in the Valley of Kings like Tutankhamun's tomb, and Ramses 6 is not recommended; some people can be claustrophobic. But you can book it on spot if you would like to, there's no need to book it in advance.

Our tour leader will pick you up from your hotel in Gouna to begin your tour.
First, you will visit the Colossi of Memnon; the two colossal statues representing King Amenhotep III seated and having his hands resting on his knees facing towards the Nile River.
Then you will transfer to the temple of El Deir El Bahri to have an in-depth tour of the temple with your tour guide.
Enjoy a then your lunch meal at one of the best local restaurants in Luxor before heading to the Valley of the Kings and Deir El Madina (the worker's village) where all the artisans and the craftsmen who participated in decorating the tombs at the Valley of the Kings used to live til their death.
At the end of the day transfer back to your Luxor hotel.

After breakfast at your hotel, your guide will take you to the East Bank of the Nile River. You will start your Luxor excursions with Karnak Temple, which is considered the most ancient worship place in Egypt.
Then continue to Luxor Temple, before having your lunch and transferring back to Gouna at the end of the day.
