At the Giza pyramids and the Great Sphinx, there are three pyramids known as the Pyramid of Khufu (also called the Great Pyramid), the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. The Pyramid of Khufu is the largest and oldest of the three. The pyramids were built during the Old Kingdom period of ancient Egypt, and they are among the most recognizable and iconic structures in the world.
Also, you will get entrance tickets to the King Chephren Pyramid, also known as the Pyramid of Khafre. It is the second-largest pyramid in Giza and is believed to have been built as a tomb for the Pharaoh Khafre, who ruled Egypt during the 4th Dynasty.
When you finish taking your lunch at a nearby local restaurant in Cairo, we will continue our tour in Saqqara.
