The Mountain of the Dead, also known as (Gabal Elmwata), is a small hill close to Siwa Town's northernmost area that is covered in stunning wall paintings and honeycombed with rock graves. It is situated on Gebel al-Mawta, often known as the "Mountain of the Dead." Most of the tombs in this area were built during the 26th dynasty, along with the Ptolemaic and Roman periods. When the Italians stormed the oasis during World War II, the Siwans used these tombs as a refuge.
Next, proceed to The Fortification of Shali, a 13th-century mud-brick fortification where the Siwa people formerly lived. Although parts of the historic town's structures are still in operation, due to their construction from salt, mud, rock, and plaster, they decay much more each year.

We'll eventually arrive at Fatnas Lake.The little island of Fatnas in Birket Siwa is accessible by bicycle or foot. Gebel Bayda and Hamra provide a beautiful background to the west, making it a wonderful place to unwind and see the sun set across the lake. Banana, date, and olive trees, among other types, may be seen while strolling around the garden. After that, you will be transferred to your accommodation.
