Visit Edfu's Horus Temple during our Egypt Day Tours, which is one of the best-preserved temples in the Egyptian world. When you arrive at the airport for your Movenpick Sun Ray Nile Cruise, one of our tour guides will be there to meet you, along with one of our drivers. You will be assisted in every way possible, and then you will be taken to board your beautifully appointed 5-Star cruise ship for your Nile cruise.

Enjoy a good lunch shortly after boarding, and then in the afternoon, our Expert guide will take you to see Luxor Temple and Karnak Temple, both of which are located on the East Bank at Luxor.

Enjoy afternoon tea, dinner, and some onboard entertainment, and spend the first night of the cruise in your cabin on the water at Luxor.

Meals: Lunch and Dinner

Shortly after breakfast, your guide will take you and the other members of your small group to see the Valley of the Kings, an ancient royal burial site consisting of more than 60 tombs, including the tomb of King Tutankhamun.

You will also visit Queen Hatshepsut’s spectacular rock-cut mortuary temple and the Colossi of Memnon.

Following your tour, you will return to the ship in time for your lunch, and it will start sailing to Esna.

Enjoy an afternoon of leisure and relaxation with afternoon tea, dinner, and onboard entertainment in the evening.

This night of your Movenpick Sun Ray Nile Cruise will be spent on the water at Esna.

Your cruise ship will leave Esna quite early today and it will sail to Edfu. Enjoy your breakfast on the water and

then when you reach Edfu your guide will accompany you on an excursion to see Edfu Temple, also known as the Temple of Horus. This temple was buried beneath the sand for more than 2,000 years, and as a result, it is the best-preserved ancient Egyptian cult temple ever discovered.

After spending so much time at the temple, you will return to the cruise ship, and it will then start sailing to Kom Ombo, with lunch being served along the way.

Later in the day, you will enjoy another excursion, this time to see the twin temples of Kom Ombo that were dedicated to Sobek the crocodile god, and Horus the falcon-headed god. You will also visit the new Kom Ombo Crocodile Museum before returning to the ship.

Dinner will be served at the usual time, followed by some more onboard entertainment in the evening, and you will spend this night of your Movenpick Sun Ray Nile Cruise on the water at Kom Ombo.

Enjoy breakfast on the water while sailing to Aswan where you will enjoy another fascinating onshore excursion.

During this tour, you will first visit the Aswan High Dam and Lake Nasser which formed as a result of the dam being built.

Next, you will visit the ancient granite quarries to see the gigantic Unfinished Obelisk, after which you will board a small boat for a pleasant ride to see the ancient Temple of Philae.

Philae Temple, which was dedicated to two goddesses, Hathor and Isis, once stood on an area of ground that is now submerged beneath Lake Nasser and was moved in its entirety to its new location while the Aswan High Dam was being built.

Dinner will be served in the ship's beautifully appointed dining area at the usual time, and at this event, there will be a thoroughly enjoyable Nubian folkloric show for entertainment.

Enjoy the last night of your Movenpick Sun Ray Nile Cruise in your cabin on the water at Aswan.

Your Movenpick Sunray Nile Cruise has unfortunately come to an end, but before you go anywhere, first enjoy another good breakfast on the boat. At the appropriate time, you will need to check out and disembark, and then one of our tour managers and a driver will transfer you to the airport.
